I finished creativity inc. a couple days ago. It was a bit different from what I have read before. It was a book about managing and creating an creative work environment. It was also s bit like a biography ( about pixar ). Mainly because all statements was exemplified with Pixar stories. Was interesting to hear a bit more about the company. + It contained a very nice chapter about Steve Jobs which portrait a bit of a different Steve than what I have read before. 👨‍🚀🤠 #book #design #reading #pixar #creativityinc #lifeatitu

Book// As they write in the preface: "...we do not address how to do interaction design but rather how to think about interaction design.." . . . .it was a bit less concrete, but I enjoyed reading it. Not as easy to read as Don Norman's books, but not to hard either. Under 200 pages which I always see as a plus for non-fiction books. At @stykka.labs we try to rethink the way we think "furniture". We use Virtual reality to co-create new designs with our customers. We use 3D scanning to merge their existing room with the non existing designs before production. We also use tracking devices to map patterns in a office. This helps us gain a measurable insight on how our customers use their existing interior compared to a new. @limebike have just entered the urban space of Copenhagen. I find it interesting with these "digital services" that lives in the physical realm. . 1. The clash between California mindset and the danish. What can you do when it comes to making a business that effects the public space? . 2. Laws. Is it okay to unleash a fleet of electric scooters when it is illegal to ride them? . 3. Respect and research: does this product fit well into the urban transportation model of Copenhagen? . 4. Industrial design challenges.. California is nice and sunny. In Denmark we have rain + we have a winter. Will be interesting to see the small fast wheels when we have icy roads. . . . 1. Went to @techfestival today. It is a festival with a important theme. It is about designing humanity-centered tech. 2. Mega UX was a event held by multiple copenhagen based UX groups. 3. Most interesting thing in my mind at Mega UX was @uizardio . They were working on a AI that could turn sketches in to visual prototypes and code. 4. The Copenhagen letter from last year 5. Jarl & Enzo made a presentation of how we at @stykka.labs use VR to co-design furniture with our clients. 6. #techfestival #stykka #design #tech

It's been a while since I heard in the radio that Copenhagen would get live tracking of air pollution. If I remember correctly so is it a collaboration between @koebenhavnskommune & @google and the first non US city to get it. Hi @samsungmobile 1. Auto tracking and auto detection of my bike commutes. Totally awesome feature. Wouldn't bother to track them manually. 2. .. but why don't you believe that I bike 50min? You always slaughter the tracked time and put in 10min. If you are in doubt why don't you ask? Or even better you can have an AI make a pattern to verify the data. 3. Your auto tracking actually continue tracking at 80% of the red lights. Awesome feature for sleeping. The window seat is always preferred for 2 reasons. 1: the view and 2: sleeping up against the wall. I personally have never seen this feature before. ( I don't do a lot of flying ) this feature helped me get some good solid sleep on my 10 hour flight. Well done @airbus #design #ux #userexperience #travel

Someone finally took some time to fix the ux problem with multiple check-in. I won't say it is beautiful or perfect. But now it is bit more clear that you should press + before swiping your card. It is an improvement. I however would wish they just would let people scan their card and then press +.
